The region code can be changed up to five times. If you want an all region BD and DVD player, I have some of those (still new) by Toshiba. It's about 12, but it will only make the DVD side region free. After five changes, the region code will remain set to the last change made and cannot be changed. To avoid the error, or to set the region code for the DVD drive to a different region code, follow this procedure to change the region code setting of a DVD drive. An error may occur when playing a DVD disc with a region code setting different than that of the drive.
